Michael E. Green, M.D.

A native of Arkansas who has practiced ophthalmology in Gallatin since 1994, Dr. Michael E. Green completed his residency at the University of Texas Southwestern, was certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and has served on the Board of Directors of the Tennessee Academy of Ophthalmology. Dr. Green has privileges at Sumner Regional Medical Center. Active in civic and professional associations, Dr. Green has served as Past President of the Gallatin Lions Club. Dr. MIchael E. Green resides in Gallatin with his wife and daughter.

Stephanie Bestwina, O.D.

After graduating from the University of Houston College of Optometry, Dr. Stephanie Bestwina completed a residency in ocular disease at the Spokane VA Medical Center in Spokane, WA. She is a member of the Tennessee Optometric Association and the American Optometric Association and its Contact Lens and Cornea Section. She has participated in prior missions to Honduras with VOSH (Volunteer Optometric Service to Humanity). Dr. Bestwina moved to Tennessee to be closer to family and friends. She enjoys spending time outdoors: ie. kayaking and hiking, with her husband.

We are proud to offer a business staff with a combined 18 + years of experience. They are happy to assist you with scheduling, medical and vision plans, and insurance needs. Our staff will instruct you on the necessary paperwork needed for your appointment as well as preparation for your visit.

A skilled compassionate staff awaits your visit dedicated to ensuring appropriate care is taken with each patient. Our technicians are comprised of RN's, LPN's, Certified Ophthalmic Assistants and Certified Ophthalmic Technicians. Many of our patients are comforted by the familiarity of our technicians and their many years of service with Green Eye Center.
